The Elite African Super League (EASL) was created with one purpose in mind: to provide a professional, structured, and competitive platform where African talent and global players can compete at the highest standard of organization, integrity, and excellence.
Modeled in professionalism after competitions such as the FIFA World Cup and the UEFA Champions League, EASL is committed to clear governance, fairness, safety, and competitive balance.
This document outlines the official rules and regulations that govern the EASL tournament. All participating teams, players, coaches, and officials are required to comply fully with these regulations.
The EASL Tournament consists of two main phases:
• 16 groups
• 4 teams per group
• Round-robin format (each team plays 3 matches)
• 3 points for a win

• 0 points for a loss
The top two teams from each group qualify for the Knockout Stage (Round of 16).
• Round of 16
• Quarterfinals
• Semifinals
• Final
All knockout matches are single-elimination.
If a knockout match ends in a draw after 90 minutes:
• Two 15-minute extra time periods will be played.
• If still tied, the match will be decided by penalty shootout (5 kicks per team, then sudden death).
• Minimum: 18 players
• Maximum: 25 players

Inspired by global governing standards set by FIFA and UEFA, EASL is building a structured, transparent, and world-class platform that empowers players to compete with pride and professionalism.
As the Founder, Shadrack Kitambogo envisioned a league where structure meets opportunity — where discipline meets talent — and where dreams are given a real stage.
Every whistle, every match, every trophy lifted will stand on one foundation:
Fairness. Structure. Excellence.
This is EASL.
Your Talent. Your Stage. Your Chance.
